Our Church History
...Some men dream dreams, others search the universe for answers, but there are those who dare to be led by the Spirit of God.
Two men had a vision and led by the Holy Spirit they facilitated a two-year local telecast run of the world renowned Breath of Life broadcast program in February 1982.
After the two-year local telecast run, a committee of several local members began a long journey of planning a crusade. On October 24, 1986, Elder C.D. Brooks, his team of visiting Elders, bible workers, and occasional guest speakers, taught, educated, consoled, fortified, and presented the truths of the Bible to the Rochester community. Their dedication, along with the efforts of the many other faithful members and area church leaders, were instrumental in running the Crusade in this format nightly; ending with 66 souls dedicating their lives to serving the Lord through baptism on November 22, 1986.
This was the breaking ground for the Breath of Life church and through the endeavors of many, starting with two saints who planted the seed; Breath of Life was formed as a Mission with the motto: “caring, sharing, and a loving church”.
